Jack McCarthy is “Megabytes” Man of the Year. At the end of December, Bridgestone announced the results of the Megabytes awards for 2010. Jack McCarthy was honoured to be awarded the title of Man of the Year.
McCarthys were awarded a Gold Medal for their black pudding at the annual awards organised by La Confrérie des Chevaliers du Goûte Boudin, or the Brotherhood of the Knights of the Blackpudding. The French Fraternity visited Kanturk to present Jack with his award.

La Confrérie des Chevaliers du Goûte Boudin, or the Brotherhood of the Knights of the Blackpudding awarded a medal and certificate for McCarthys’ Pudding in celebration of achieving third place in this major international competition.
